Are you like me and Pin recipes to your Pinterest Boards and say one day I'm gonna try that??
I'm so bad about doing that.
Well today was the day I decided to try some of these recipes and share one on my new favorites from one of Mr. B's co-workers.
I'm not going to show you step by step for the ones I tried that I know are already out there. I will be sharing the link and you can check it out for yourself!!
First off I made a list of everything I would need for all the recipes I would be re-creating today.
Then it was off to the store with Mr. B in tow.
My first recipe I put together when we got home was from "Recipes We Love"
They posted this one on my Linky Party #16 and boy and I glad they did.
It is Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip
Thanks Amber and Ann Kelly for sharing this creamy yumminess!!
Next up was this drink recipe from "Not So Homemade"
I've had this pinned for like months and waited tooooo long to get free lemons from my Daddy. What a procrastinator I am!! Thank Goodness we have a Vegetable/fruit stand down not 2 miles from my home. Because I refused to pay $6 for 9 lemons. I got 12 for $4 at Porter's
Thanks Courtney, I may never have to go to Chic-fil-A again. I mean really, isn't the Lemonade why you go?? Drink more Just Like C-F-A Lemonade!!
Had some lunch that Mr. B whipped up while I was making the above to recipes. Who loves BLT's???
WE DO!!!
Then came this creamy delight I can hardly wait to swirl around in my mouth this evening!!
Mel over at "The Crafty Scientist" had guest blogger Jenna of It's Just Called Spicy share this with her readers!! I immediately pinned and wanted to whipped it up a couple of weekends ago, but was completely out of Heavy Whipping Cream!!
I made Chocolate and Mr. B and I licked the spoon and I swear it tasted just like a Wendy's Frosty! I'm salivating just knowing it is in the freezer!!!
Now here is Mr. B's co-workers recipe. I will be having this for lunch tomorrow.
Linda brought this to his store picnic last weekend and I immediately had to find out who brought it and beg politely as for the recipe.
Broccoli Salad.
Here is what you need
4 cups of broccoli florets
2 cups of seedless red grapes
1/2 cup of diced onions
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup of sunflower nuts
Mix all those together and then mix up the dressing which consist of;
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup of sugar
and pour over the top 5 ingredients and mix well. Chill overnight for best results.
I can hardly wait for lunch time tomorrow.
Lastly on my list of things to make today is Erika V's Garlic Cheddar Biscuits. You can find this recipe on her blog at "Southern Belle as an Army Wife"
Erika shared these on my Linky Party #16 too. Not sure what we are going to make to go with these babies tonight, but I'm thinking shrimp and baked potatoes sound good to me.
Now what is on your Pinterest boards or on a Linky Party you have been wanting to try? You may just be missing out on your new favorite recipe!!
