Decorative Monogramed Cutting Board
First I designed the image, I'm sure you could even use an image of your child's art!
I went with a copper colored background
with Black Fluers and Black Monogram
It matches my Kitchen backsplash.
I bought the glass 7.5x7.5 cutting board at the "Dollar Tree"

On the backside or underneath the cutting board
I covered it with Mod Podge to hold my image on.

While MP was still wet, I placed the image and let dry.
Then I covered the image again with MP to seal.
I haven't tested to see how well it has sealed. If it doesn't seal well, I will still use just for decorative purposes. But here you see it as it is meant to be.
Don't you think it's Pretty???
The best part to me, it it cost me a whole one doll-ar!!!
Here is hoping you are having a wonderful weekend!!

ReplyDeleteLove how it turned out and love the price. And I think as long as you don't submerge it in water, it should hold up quite well. Thanks for sharing. Visiting from Homemaker on a Dime.
