SweetTalk ~ Bakes

It has been one of those weekends when I love to read my favorite blogs and find something amazing to bake.  This morning I checked out Mommy In The Baking and she did not disappoint!  I found this wonderful recipe for Chocolate Crinkle Cookies and pictures to salivate over.  I remember eating cookies that looked like these when I was a kid and had to try and go back in time (way back!!) Not really that far back, but far enough. Oh you get the picture!!!

Well I check the ingredient list and I had them all just waiting to be mixed together to make my taste buds sing and my waist line cringe!  But oh I have brought marital bliss to the mix.  Mr. Bryan loved the outcome and he can't keep his fingers out of the cookie bowl.  Lil' C you better hurry home work cause Daddy is salivating!! Big C, I promise to make some more when you make it home from college. Can't promise there will be any to take back on your journey back though.

Making Sweet Strawberry Jam

I took a vacation day with my hubby today and we made his favorite jam.

Strawberry!!!!

We have tons of strawberries in our freezer and no jam in the pantry,

so it was a good way to pass the day!
